Whether you were born into The Bridge Church Family or joined us later in life, we strive to make this slogan a reality to everyone who comes through our doors. At The Bridge we are a group of people who love God and love others.  We know that we truly live out His plan when we serve Christ and each other. We are a non-denominational, full gospel church that believes in salvation through Jesus Christ, sanctification as a work of grace and the infilling & the empowering of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the truths and principles found within its pages are the guide by which we are to live as Christians. 

 

For more than 58 years we have been blessed with the leadership of Pastor, Dr. Lawrence Butler, Sr.

Pastor Butler was later joined by his wife, Patricia, when they were married in 1969. Over the years, Pastor Butler has become more than just a pastor to The Bridge, but has also become a pastor to the local community of Pembroke and the surrounding areas.  

The church has continuously grown; from a small building in downtown Pembroke, to the communities go-to place of worship.

 

Our congregation is composed of youth, singles, young married couples with families, middlers and seniors. Whatever your stage and status is in life, we have a place for you!
